nousoperations.com is run by Michail Diplaros, trading as Nous Operations, in Athens, Greece. He is the data controller for the data described here.

2. What we collect and why
When you send us a message through the form
- What: your name, email, and anything else you choose to add (project type, budget, timeline, message).
- Why: to reply and discuss your project.
- Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- How long: as long as needed to reply and, if we don't end up working together, up to 24 months after our last message. If we do work together, as long as the contract and tax law require.
When you email us directly
The same as the form.
Visitor statistics (Vercel Web Analytics)
- What: anonymous, aggregated data: which page you viewed, where you came from (e.g. Google), approximate country and city, device type, operating system and browser.
- How: without cookies. To count unique visitors, an identifier derived from your browser's request is used and automatically discarded after 24 hours. Your IP address is not stored, and the data can't be linked to you or follow you across other sites.
- Why: to understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object by emailing us.
Technical operation data
Like any website, the server hosting nousoperations.com (Vercel) briefly logs technical details of each request, such as your IP address, for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
3. Cookies and storage on your device
This site does not use cookies.
It only stores two technical notes in your browser's session storage, so the home page intro and the footer animation don't replay on every page. They contain no personal data and are deleted when you close the tab.
4. Who else processes the data
We never sell your data or share it for advertising. To run the site we use the following providers, who process data only on our behalf:

Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which these providers are certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Your rights
You have the right to ask for:
- access to your data and a copy of it;
- correction or deletion;
- restriction of processing;
- portability, i.e. receiving it in a machine-readable format;
- and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe we haven't respected your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
6. Security
All communication with the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Only we have access to your messages.
7. Changes
If anything in this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
